Anyone try this tethering app?

Kind of seems a bit convoluted and the idea of connecting to an external proxy server kind of makes me suspicious re: security. Thoughts?

I was going to try it but when I saw an ad-hoc network is needed I stopped since I think my L920 can't connect to ad-hoc networks.

I have L920 too and mine can connect to adhoc network. Give it a try.

It is not an external proxy sever, it is a proxy server that runs on your phone and forwards traffic back and four to your computer. Assuming that you have control of the adhoc network and password protect it, your traffic is secure.
