I okay, i updated my Nokia Lumia 920 with NoviFirm some time ago the update was an early GDR2 from Latin America region, Firmware = 1232.5957.1308.0002 today i checked for update and there was one so i updated the phone, it did not take too long as i have read in some posts in here, it was about 10 minutes. the firmware now is 1232.5962.1314.0002, is this the real GDR2 or final GDR2 update? by the way im connected to Rogers

That is a Nokia firmware update. That is not a Microsoft software update.

yes you are spot on. Consider it as a firmware/feature update for Nokia Lumias only. It brings camera improvements and the Nokia Lock screen improvements apart from various small but essential tweaks to enhance the UX in addition to what the OS update GDR2 does

I bought a 925 2 weeks ago and Amber was installed. The OS version that came with the 'phone was build 8.0.10327.77. Yesterday, I checked for an update and was informed that one was available. Now I have build 10328 installed. 10328 is the GDR2 update.

You already had GDR2, the last update was a minor patch
