Dead phone after downloading/instaling language features

Hey.
Since this seems to be a general windows phone topic, I am posting it here.
My Lumia 820 got completely dead after downloading and trying to install language features (for tellme), anyone knows what I could do?
Soft reset does nothing.. thats the thing different to all other topics I found.

happened to me today:

- let the battery drain
- connect the phone to the charger
- let it turn on by itself

okay.. I'll let it drain.. how do I know it's empty?
