Ok, first off the bat, I can already hear the community exploding on what I'm about to say. It will be the same rhetoric many WP8 fans have been arguing about.

But....

Seriously, I understand why MS was pushing WP at the VMAs but won't most of the teenie boppers be looking for first party support for apps like instagram, candy crush, vine (waiting in the wings I know), and all the other popular apps when they check out windows phone at the store? I do not see the need for these apps but that doesn't mean the platform can avoid it.

I wish MS would push for these apps so newer neophytes can join the platform. These users will not want 3rd party apps, they want first party and then switch. I get a lot of sighs when I tell people about rowi, or metrotube because they are not "official.".
