The features and information that GDR3 bringing to Windows Phone 8:

• 1080p Screen Support (1920*1280 resolution)
• Snapdragon 800 Support
• Quad Core CPU Support
• Bluetooth 4.0
• Driving Mode
• Multitasking There an "X" to Close Apps
• Screen Rotation Lock
• Custom sounds for text, voice mail, e-mail, and reminders
• First time set up of the phone or Factory Reset you can sign into WIFI
• Support for new Qualcomm chipsets
• Extra column for live tiles
• Advance setting in Bluetooth

Features and Information related to Bittersweet Shimmer:

• Notifications On Glance Screen
• Be able to change the color for night mode in Glance Screen

Expected release is for a late October or beginning of November.

All devices with Windows Phone 8 will get GDR3.

i hope that the GDR3/Bittersweet Shimmer will fix the glance notification battery consumption. and of course the post processing bug on 920

That's supposed to be supported on 920 and equal resolution devices That makes me very happy

Notification center is not there i think...and Bluetooth 4.0 is already there for lower end devices plus flip to silent came with amber...still waiting eagerly for this update

GDR3 MS too slow to send updates because there is no any full review video of GDR3 nothing any detailed fully what are they doing apple is copying WP8 so please make some great updates which can use every one and every one like it because there is no any other home screen and no phoro rename, detail, place location option and videos if i have 50 videos so there is no any one option to go to direct last videos its mean z series or any one in the middle. video sharing option to bt and others themes??? just that colors not enough plz add some colors and it is better idea to pick theme colors from snapshopts and pictures from taken snaps. and setting UI is very bad some time i find where is bt wifi its mean its difficult but i allways appreciate windows phone because its classic. i allways feedback them but i cannot understand what are they doing. sorry for poor english

in the GDR3 please make battery, signal, wifi, bt iCON alive/staible you are giving improvements slowly miser way so make bigbank. if you want to cross all over the world's cellphone brand.

Grab the app Quick Settings from the App store. Will let you pin BT and WiFi to your start screen making it easier for you.

First post should be updated: no notification centre and no extra column. Also the Flip to Silence option was already in GDR2 if i'm not mistaken?

You can add also temp storage cleanup feature. Now no needs in Nokia storage check app and of course excellent news for owners of HTC, SAMSUNG

And i think the wifi icon on the top has been moved a little from the center top to a little left side.
