Is there any way to record voice calls?

Not as far as I know, apart from using external microphones.. Why do you need to do this?

From all I've seen on the APIs there is no way to do this. I'm not an expert, so I certainly don't know all, but I'm pretty confident of this.

It's more of a legal issue. Some places it's okay for only one person to know the call is being recorded. Other places both parties have to know the call is being recorded. It is easier for MS to leave out the ability than to deal with it.
