My Lumia software recovery tool 5.0.7 has a starup error, how can I fix this?

lumia software recovery tool 5.0.7 starup error

i have installed lumia software recovery tool 5.0.7 on windows 8 machine and trying to launch it but i get error windows which contains one message and log of exceptions

message : "programme startup error .please disconnect all devices and try again"

even i have not connected any phone to my machine i get this message. i restarted my machine,reinstalled the tool. but no luck
