Why don't I have apps working after the WP8 June 2015 update?

No apps working after WP8 June 2015 update

After the most recent update, my Nokia Lumia 1020's apps do not work at all! After pressing the app it just goes straight into the home screen again. Not even apps that came preloaded on the phone work. From the camera to the maps nothing loads. Any ideas?

1. stupid question but did you restart the phone?

2. you may have to erase the phone and start fresh - using the WP Software REcovery tool on a PC is advisable.

Try a reset. It should work.

Way to reset:

Settings -> About -> Reset your phone.

remember, a hard reset erases all data, make sure photos and stuff are backed up.
