Hey, I've seen there are a few bikers on here, curious what you guys have figured out for the rig. if anything?
I'm jacked about the fact that it's got legit GPS *and* I can leave the gloves on, that will be waaay more convenient that pulling over, removing a glove, checking a map and memorizing my next few turns.
I saw grndZr0 mention what I think would be a most ideal setup, weatherproof handlebar mount with inductive charging. Barring that, I'd be happy with a solid handlebar mount and rely on the battery (and just not use GPS in the rain). Any good options for solid mounting on 1" bars?
I've already got it paired up with my Sena SMH10 and am planning to try just setting a destination and leaving the phone in my pocket, hopefully the voice nav will be enough to get me through. Of course, with the weather turning, my ride is mostly commuting, I won't be taking too many "just for fun" trips.
Anyone know if you can plan custom routes and save them to the phone? "Fun" rides rarely take the same route as any efficiency-minded GPS plan.
