Hi my old antec amp iso Bluetooth headset broke today :(

Since I travel 4 hours of public transportation (train and bus) I love the active noise cancellation.

But my iso cannot change the earphones :(

so the Microsoft bh 121 have a jack plug , and ms says it has digital / Active noise cancellation in the uplink

But what does this means and does it work ?

Thanks and any alternatives are welcome :)

No its a regular headset jack. The headset has no active noise cancellation. The mic has some degree of noise cancellation. You can use any regular passively isolated headphone / earphone to keep out noise, e.g. :

Generic fit:

http://www.earphonesolutions.com/westone-w50.html

Custom fit:

Ultimately since Windows Phone doesn't support high quality audio via Bluetooth (behind, again) the ultimte use of these high isolation earphones is kind of limited. I do use JH customs since they have unmatched isolation, so even if the quality via Bluetooth isn't as good I can hear more of it (and when I connect non-Nokia Bluetooth headsets with a jack to Android, I can get higher audio quality).

The source is not super high quality and the one you link to is imo more than I will spend.

However I bought the bh 121, and Microsoft Denmark insist they have active noise cancellation.. So first set didn't work with the app (battery level), I got a new set, the app works , but still no noise cancellation, I try one more time... :(

There is sadly not many Bluetooth in ear with anc :(
