Reset button on DT-903?

So I noticed my wireless charger wouldn't work so I tried plugging it in different outlets with no luck. Underneath though I noticed what seems to be a button. Does anybody know if this is a reset button? I got it working but I can't seem to find the answer in the small guide it came with.

If you hold it down for 8 seconds it resets the device to pair with other devices

That's what I thought. I held it down and it flashed like crazy and started working again.
