Unfortunately I received this answer from Comixology today, which responds to my wp8-request.

Still no good news, but maybe just to inform u: they updated their webside, now i can read via Internet Explorer in desk mode!

Seems that comixology will never update their w8 app. Nor release a WP app...

I've sent comiXology an email requesting an official Windows Phone app every few months or so. They never respond with anything more promising than "we'll pass it on". If that changes I'll update here.
