We are seeing a lot of apps lately. Does have to do with the wp8 attraction. And is it making app makers hurry up and develop for wp7?

Not sure really if any of that is due to W8 approaching or not, but some could be. I do think W8 will help bring more to the platform though going forward, both for technical and practical reasons.

IF it is due to WP8 looming on the horizon, then I would say this is a good sign that devs will continue to release WP7 apps after WP8 release... If you're excited about WP8, why jump on and create an app now unless you plan to have your apps run on 7 & 8.

I will say that i will be dissapointed if when Windows 8 comes out there isnt a horde of big name apps released at the same time.

There would be a lot of apps getting into the marketplace and store? With wp7 apps coming a little later maybe a week later. Unless ms can get a copy of the app and change it to wp7 compatible
