Nice, but I think we wont notice the difference. It is made just for better looking specs.

So could this be what was being hidden by in the unboxing videos? Maybe the sticker showed 1.6Ghz and they weren't 100% sure that it would be the final speed.

If its now in full production the only surprise left is the release date.

Ive stopped even trying to post new links now - by the time I have found the appropriate place to put the link HeyCori has already made the thread about it.

Almost a 10% boost for the CPU... Yeah, probably won't be noticeable, reminds me of when I over clocked an AMD Athlon back in the day... I think I went from 0.5GHz to 0.6GHz... 20% improvement! LOL

Specs just keep getting better. Who knows, maybe the crazy dGPU rumors will turn out to be true.

    That sounds alright. Neat!
I could see this being noticeable once the second generation of XBLA games come out. Like say a Project Spark 2, or something. :D

So, CPU @ 9.375% increase, GPU @ 6.625% increase... I wonder if they just increased the multiplier or the base speed?

Not to mention that the Kinect has it's own CPU, so there will be little of a hit to overall system performance with it running and in use... I guess it will truly act like a controller.
