Can you stand the Xbox One up on its side?

Maybe a silly question here... but can the Xbox One stand up on its side? I like the look of it as I've seen it flat on a surface, but with many other consoles I do like to stand them up on the side. Will that harshly effect or do any damage because of heat issues? (blocking cooling vents, etc.)

Standing the console on its side is not a problem. I have the GOW 2TB One S and it came with a basic stand. The stand itself is cheap but it gets the job done. No cooling vents are blocked and functionality is not hampered in any way.

@karelj - ok cool. Thought I had read somewhere that placing it on its side was an issue for cooling purposes!

I think you can only stand the Xbox One S on it's side, but the original version can't
