What is the far right port to the right of the Ethernet? It is not on the "production model" in the Major Nelson unboxing video.

Oh, looky that.. It looks like one of those thick USB plugs that for example my external HDD uses (on the HDDs end, normal USB-plug on the PC end). Quick googling shows that what I mean is called USB type B.

From the article with the pictures.

There are a few stipulations. We presume the Xbox One is a debug console, which explains the massive sticker on the top left of the console and the addition of a USB B port - which we presume is for updating the Xbox One's firmware without access to the internet.

That would explain it.

Is anyone else a bit annoyed by the USB ports? USB 3.0 is typically blue, so having these in black's a bit confusing, as that is traditionally the color of USB 2.0.

Traditionally it would be - but seeing as all the USB ports on the xbox one are USB 3 it doesn't matter that much.
