I found evidence of Xbox integration in the source code for the Skype metro app. There is source code dealing with Skype Contacts using the Xbox platform.

Therefore, expect to see some sort of integration with the new console, and possibly the xbox 360.

That has been the rumor, makes sense too. The question then becomes would MS charge to use Skype on your TV?

Everything that is free for Skype on PC would be free on Xbox. Everything that is charged, like calling real phones, would be the same too.

Not true, you might need gold, just like you do for Netflix or ordering a pizza. We don't know yet.

Imo charging for Netflix and the like on xbox is complete BS. They market the damn thing as a media box yet every other console and nearly any other machine is better suited and doesn't require a monthly fee...

It just seems like such an arbitrary thing: gamers buy Xbox live for gaming. An offline gamer is not going to buy a subscription to watch their Netflix... Which is also a subscription, that person is going to use another device. It doesn't seem good or logical to drive people to not use your product...
