Acer Jade surprize from a $7 dongle + maybe someone can help.

So I bought a $7 HDMI to VGA adapter dongle from eBay.....

I set up the dock on my desk, tapped the Continuum app and ran set up. Video works wonderfully, however no audio seems to be passed via the 3.5mm jack.
No big issue as I have BT speaker if I need. Just wanted to know if others tried such a set up ?

My Adonit Jot Script Pen works like a champion with the Acer!!! Now that the Jot Script is not being made, the price is way down from sellers. As low as $40 with a year of Evernote in package.

Just don't get the new Adonit Pen for Windows unless you have a Surface or the like.

This Acer is a gem for the price I paid $303 Canadian all in

I used a similar product and I couldn't get sound either. Used it with a Primo and x3 - no such luck.

Hummm oh well, no big issue as the sound can go over Bluetooth. I like that the dock has 3 USB ports for mouse and keyboard. The more I use it the more I like it
