That reminded me of Soupy Sale's joke about the FCC and I searched to get the exact wording but there is no record of it anywhere on the net! I guess that's what's called prehistoric.

Soupy's show was pulled because he told kids to take all the green paper out of their parents wallets and mail it to him. A parent complained to the FCC.

After the show returned, someone asked Soupy how he was getting along with the FCC. Soupy held up two fingers pressed together and said: the FCC and me are like this. He took his other hand, pointed to one of the fingers and said this finger is me. Then he folded it down leaving just the index finger raised which he pointed to and said: and this is the FCC.
