Would you still buy a Alcatel IDOL 4S?

As of April 20 and with Amazon selling the phone for $285 and the latest Windows 10 release is it still a good idea? or stay away?

One of the best (if not the best) Windows phones I've ever used ... coming from L521, L925, L625, L830, L735, HTC One M8, L950, L950XL...

Camera not as great as Pureview ... but it's definitely good enough! Hell yes I'd buy again.

Most seem indifferent to the VT, but I like it. I get busy doing this and that and forget to pull it out as often as I should...

No Sensor Core or Glance. Band 2 solves that and then some.

I've downloaded 360 videos to my computer, put them in the correct folder and played them through launcher. I've yet to find the trick for adding games to launcher...

It is way more phone than 650 in every way except (over) saturation of the screen and camera. The 650 takes amazing great pics for what it is.

Check this thread and I think that you'll find the Idol 4S has improved in camera over it's shaky start. http://forums.windowscentral.com/alcatel-idol-4s/445106-official-idol-4s-picture-video-thread.html Not an earth shaking camera, but it does get the job done.

I think it's the best value you can get in a Windows Mobile right now. I'm content with my 950 XL, if I wasn't, i'd go for the Idol.

Good time to use any extra Bing rewards points you have laying around. Get that Amazon credit and your Idol 4s is now $5 cheaper.
