The best thing about Windows Phone is rom flashing. It is not only fun but opens any device to any software. This is exclusive to WP and I am hapy to be a user of it. Blackberry is great, but I am glad your trying WP.

    AT&T Tilt 2 and the HTC HD2

    a) The strength is Windows Phone 6.5.x - there are so many quality apps available, most for free or very inexpensive. Its a proven platform that is improving with the times.

    b) I really enjoy my Windows Phone device. When I get "bored" with the way it looks, I usually switch back & forth from Microsoft Titanium interface to HTC Sense 2.1 interface.

    c) I see them moving from a Business paradigm into the Consumer market.

    d) I can run and/or emulate any Blackberry App, so don't worry about losing anything. Look at the gain in more apps, true multi-tasking and simple interface with Microsoft Exchange, no extra BES Server required!

    e) Microsoft Marketplace has lots of great apps & games, so does OpnMarket, which has over 10,000 free & quality apps. Then, there's many other app stores, providers and developers who have been developing and perfecting there apps for many years.

    Daily Integration:
Access 9 different e-mail accounts, 1 Exchange, 2 IMAP and 6 POP accounts.
Access Google Voice - Originate & receive calls, see & hear voicemails
GPS-enabled apps - weather, maps, Geocaching, etc.
Barcode scanners - instantly compare prices online when out shopping. Just scan the barcode and it looks up the prices online.
Finding the best gas prices in my geographic are via GPS.
    Texting.
    Twitter & Facebook.
OpenVPN to access corporate network to support PCs and Servers via VNC, Remote Desktop and Putty.
And there's the occasional games to break the day's tensions! :p

Wow, this is STILL going on. I'm pretty sure that the contest threads are supposed to be closed when the contest is over, or at least that's what all of the other sites have done.

    a) I think that the screen real estate on both and the full keyboard on the Tilt2 are some of their strengths.
    b) WinMo is playing catchup to some of the competition like Android and the iPhone. The OEM's doing their own UI's on top are a real benefit at least until the promises of WinMo 7 appear.
    c) WinMo is pretty steady but I do think that it's going to loose some ground if there is no innovation soon.
    d) I think a more flexible platform is something to gain, custom ROMS and more customization. Loose is BIS/BES and great push email.
    e) Lots of apps and they can come from anywhere just like on the BB. I it must be #2 (iPhone being #1)

How about some crazy cloud integration? No phone platform out there has this integrated well... MS has all the pieces, they just need to put them together... easier said than done though...

I love the windows mobile platform It seems lkike MS is finally making a concerted effort to revitalize it I am trying to decide what my next device will be and I am strongly leaning towards staying with winmo. I like what I am seeing in 6.5.3 and as an atorney I want to stay with a business device but I want the larger screen and a virtual keyboard or slider mostly the former with enough memory on the device the ability to utilize storage cards unless you are talking a couple of hundred gigs. Its just silicon slab(s)
