Microsoft could now become an Android OEM in Europe and test the waters and then bring it over here to the U.S.A

How likely this would happen, is it likely...I dont know but the Chance of having a smart phone with the following would be nice:

Samsung/LG phone with Microsoft Android OS and all Microsoft Apps and services (minus all of the creepy Google services) would be awesome.

Honestly with the sudden opportunity in Europe (https://www.theverge.com/2018/10/18...mpetition-europe-antitrust-commission-lawsuit), this is something Microsoft should really look at...

But most likely Samsung/LG will bundle their load of crapware...

dreams are only dreams I guess :)

It's interesting opportunity. Google set prices (10-40 USD or EUR) so that it could go either way. In top end, Google apps might be there by default.
What IMO is bad for short term is that app store is bundled with other G apps. Samsung and Amazon already have android app stores, though I don't know how wide range of apps can be got from there. MS app store for android - unceetain 'maybe' 🙄 Then there are websites to look for apps for download and side install (extracted from store devices?).
MS could be more in front of android. But they have to put more effort in making their services (Cortana, Bing) work (better) in EU countries.
I see android with optional Google apps as opportinity to have something great 😉
