7 Tab Browser (v.1.6.0.0)

NOW WITH BOOKMARK SUPPORT!

Version 1.6 of 7 Tab Browser has been released into the Marketplace!

7 Tab Browser now supports bookmarks, improved dual mode, and numerous bug fixes. Easily switch between tabs and access your favorite websites quickly. When you leave the browser, your sites you were browsing are saved, so you don't need to remember which pages you were on.

7 Tab Browser is an innovative new browser, which utilizes numbered tabs at the top of the page for quick access to your favorite web content.

7 Tab Browser also features Dual Mode, which places one browser directly above another browser window, allowing you to track two sites at the same time. Useful for tracking sports games, stocks, or other real-time events. Dual Mode has been greatly improved since version 1.0.

7 Tab's Story: This browser was created by asking ourselves the question, "How do we want to browse the web on our phone?" We want to be able to quickly browse from tab to tab, without going to a separate tabs hub page. I browse a few sites regularly, so those stay on tabs 1-4, and the rest are open for ad-hoc browsing sessions. I use 7 Tab Browser as my main browser on my Windows Phone, and use it several hours a day.

If you would like to give 7 Tab Browser a spin, go ahead and try the free version (ad supported) or the Pro version for $0.99.

Just curious, what features would you most like to see added to the next release?

this is a very interesting browser, I'm going to use it as my default for a day or two and see what's what

One thing right off the bat I would change is the address bar. Combined with the tab numbers at the top (which i like very much btw) it takes up too much space. I'm not sure what would be the solution though. Maybe have the tab numbers be somewhat transparent, and disappear after the page loads?

Great, let us know what you think. The think I like about it, is that I regularly browse/track several web sites (like most people). I can load 7 Tab, and track up to 7 of them, then quickly navigate between them, refresh if needed, and I am done.

I like the idea about the transparent address bar that disappears. Maybe that will make it into the next release.

Let us know how it goes over the next couple of days.
