An app designed to make using Windows Phone's social integration more efficient was recently released. Called Social Lister, it allows users to:

  1. Define lists of topics they post about
  2. For each list, define pretext and an incrementor, which is then included in every post
  3. Add live tiles on the start screen for specific lists (with post counts and last post date information displayed)
  4. Transfer list data between phones via XML (for phone upgrades and backups)
  5. Email a copy of all the list postings
  6. Serve as a backup for posting activity in-case the data connection fails to send out a message.

In short, this app muscles-up Windows Phone's standard "Me" tile social post capability quite a bit.

A video of it in action can be found here:

If you like it, check out Social Lister's home page and give the app a try. There is both a free version and a paid version.

The Marketplace QR link to the free version is provided below:

If you like it, please review the app in the Windows Phone Marketplace, and let your friends know about it! I think this app could be helpful to a lot of people, and I'd love help getting the word out!

Thanks,

Paul
