I have written a new Windows Phone 8 app called Park which is available for free on the marketplace.

Park lets you mark the location of your car then helps you find it later by providing direction and distance.

I tried to make it very simple and easy to use. Other similar apps are chock full of features like taking a photo but I'm going for do one thing but do it well.

Please give it a try. Feedback appreciated.

Thanks for trying it out. The way that the Windows Phone GPS works determines the accuracy. When an app requests a GPS location, it receives a very inaccurate one quickly then refines the position over time. You can see a similar thing on google maps where your location is shown as a large circle that gets smaller as it becomes more accurate.

I'm hoping to show an accuracy indicator on future versions of Park so that users can see how accurate a fix will be.

I will try it more, give the app 30seconds to get the location & reply.
