How does this application handle different areas of the country (US)? I live in the South and our growing cycles are very different from other areas (zones) of the country. Actually, all of the zones have different growing cycles.

Hello,

this application is using moon cycle to suggest one or several actions that is preferable to do in that day. Main reason is that moon gravity is influencing soil water. This is for sure not perfect, because if you live in desert you cant water flowers only once in 10 days or so, but you have to do it a lot more often. We have very positive results while following this type of calendar and it can improve your plant health and results in terms of fruits or flowers.

It takes in account yours time zone to separate days in terms of moon cycles. For more information we have included RSS blog reader (at the moment is quite limited but we are adding more blogs as are suggested by users) so you can see what is happening in your area.

PS: Update for windows phone will be out in about week or two to bring new UI design (aligned with Windows 8.1) and also features aligned with windows 8.1
