GPX travel map - outdoor activity tracker

GPX travel map is an outdoor tool to display and record GPX tracks. GPX tracks can be downloaded from many websites like gpsies.com.

This is my first app on the WP store, please let me know what you think

* Offline map data support (using Windows Phone maps)

* It's completely free and without ads

Unfortunately due to restrictions of WP8 it is not possible to store track data directly on the SD card. Normal apps can only read from it (*).

If you plan to use it on a bike I highly recommend a bike mount holder and maybe even an extra battery for longer tours.

(*) Some apps may store data on the SD card but you need to have special capabilities for that which need to be granted by Nokia/MSFT.

Thanks for making this app for WP.

I've been meaning to get an app like this for my phone for a while now, as a backup to my Garmin Dakota 20 which I use for when I'm out on long walks or on MTB rides. I usually export my GPX files from Bing Maps on the web and then import them into the Garmin, so hopefully this app will read the same GPX files if I store them on SkyDrive. On my next ride I'll test it out

GPX files from Bing Maps should work (waypoints & tracks).
