We are pleased to announce that Marine Navigation app for Windows Phone App and Windows Store is now available. The US folio includes coverage for the coast of USA, major rivers, lake depth maps (incl. 1ft HD bathymetry for major inland lakes).

That looks awesome. Are the maps stored on the phone or online? If so, can you download a region like Here Maps? If it works like Bluechart on Garmin, it would be great.

I've included details below:

1.) The maps are stored offline on the device.
2.) The equivalent of "Download a region" in our app is Visual Search.
I've included below a link with details regarding this. (A user guide for windows phone is in the works).

All the maps are pre-quilted on the server side to create seamless views.

3.) The windows phone version supports navigation features including auto follow with real time track overlay and predicted heading.
If you follow a specific route, the app also supports route assistance with voice alerts.

Are there any plans to cover Europe - my interest Sweden lakes and coast?
