Hello everyone, starting from 13th May 2014, the following Kirik apps will sunset

Kirik SD File Viewer: This was the first sd card file viewer for WP.
Kirik Settings: The first app for WP8 that used volume controls to have quick access to several system settings.
Kirik Video share: The first app for WP8 that allowed you to share videos from your videos folder.

The reason for the termination of these apps is obvious: 8.1. With the arrival of 8.1, most API is now open to developers and you may have already noticed several file managers and related apps in the store.

Please note that these apps were developed using whatever APIs was available to developers in general. I did not have special permissions from Microsoft and used various handy tricks available at the time.

For legacy sake, the first universal search app, Kirik Universal Search will continue in the store. You can find it here: Kirik Universal Search | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

Thank you for making Kirik apps a success. Special thanks to wpxbox.com for their handy reviews.
