It is not designed for that purpose, but you still can capture your desktop (your web browser) if you need. Also, I'll consider adding this feature. Thanks for the idea.

In the current version, both computer and phone must be on the same Wi-Fi network. You may see this as a limiting factor, but I believe it has several usage scenarios. Actually, It depends whether you want to broadcast your camera to a public or private network. Sometimes you may need to broadcast to your local network, in this case the app will be very useful.
