I have released 3 new editions of my Share to Speech app today. Previously there was only Windows Store 8.1 paid app, but today there is also freemium Lite version, and WP editions of those now universal apps. So apps are still exclusive for Windows platform, just much more attractive now.

Apps brings text to speech at incredible convenience. All you have to do is to share a link, document or text (e.g. from Internet explorer or Office). In the case of links, the text is parsed and only the article text is read (works well on all major sites and more than 90% of all sites). Language is auto detected. If you want to go for a longer walk or drive you can schedule several speeches on the list (Lite version is limited to 3 speeches). You can even send links from Windows Store apps to phone via the Store universal app.
