I believe the point of this app is to also assign an icon or tile to it rather than the crappy preview that all mobiles OSes do.
It's a bit like Webapps from what I can tell.

I don't get a preview if I pin facebook to start. it has a nice F there :)

Yeah not many programmers know what to do. Try with a general newspaper or something. You'll get a nice screenshot of the whole page. :P

I have installed App It! and it works great for most websites, allowing me to pin to start and choose a suitable icon for the Start screen. However, I encountered several websites that cannot be accessed by App It! even though I have no problem accessing these sites using other browsers. Anyone else is familiar with this app or have encountered this problem?

It's pretty simple, all you need is just issue request like this and save icon (try to play with parameter domain_url) : https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?d...l=facebook.com
