Flappy Lines is a one-dimensional reinterpretation of the now iconic Flappy Bird. Boiling the concept down to mere horizontal lines shows how one-dimensional the original gameplay is, which leads to a basic reworking of the display of obstacles while leaving the gameplay essentially identical. Players are given a heads up warning about upcoming obstacles and must fly into the safe zone before it reaches the player.
In keeping with the 1D theme, there's no text in the game -- the interface is designed such that buttons on menus stand out and, hopefully, invite themselves to be touched, with simple functioning. "Flapping" is done by tapping anywhere on screen. Players are given a choice of 4 different lines to play as, styled after 1D interpretations of objects.
