Android has the largest number of very serious problems, but it's popular, so pointing out that you're likely to get a malware app in the store, or have your device crash, is passe.

Meanwhile, WP8 is new and "unproven," so most "opinion leaders" will rush to find what's "wrong with it," even though it has far fewer flaws than the more popular options.

This will continue until WP is clearly established, at which point, many of those same commentators will turn savagely on Android (and possibly Apple as well) while praising their new WP phones.

I don't think anybody other then some delusional fanboys think it's flawless. But at least Apple is not ignoring the issue and is trying to fix it. Microsoft can't even turn off the damn wifi sleep after two years. Or add EAP-TLS support. Or [insert your WP pet peeve]... So let's not try to be critical just for the sake of it.
