WP Marketplace?

I was curious as to how the marketplace works. Meaning, is it like iOS, where they have to approve you, or is it like Android, where the users are the ones who flag the apps?

getting the app count up doesn't mean there will be less crap. Contrary to what tech bloggers in the mobile space think, its not the amount of apps in the marketplace that is important, its the quality. WP Marketplace has about 70000 apps. At this point, we want quality.

I agree, I meant they are filling it with garbage just to get the count up. Browsing the marketplace is exhausting. Needs to be a better way to find official and/or higher quality apps.
