I did not write this app but it's well worth a look if your interested. The biggest thing it adds is bing birds-eye support which has been sorely missing from the WP7 map application. I was fearing that they were going to leave it out of WP8 as well, but in any case this app certainly caters for this. I tried it out while walking around London and its really good. The last update was to add rotation to the birds-eye view (which I requested a couple of days ago - fast response). At 79p its well worth it only to just sit there and look at isometric perspectives on the go
