Just one question (i?d like to open a poll...):

Do your noticifations work for the new final official Facebook App? Tile/Toast?
I dont really need it, i use the ME tile. Im just courious. The app notifiations dont work on my Lumia 620...

Mine worked on the beta app, but not on the "stable" version. Usually when things like this happen, an uninstall/reinstall fixes the issue, though I haven't tried it in this particular instance.

I have a shortcut for WiFi, data etc.

I keep them off until I need them. Soon as I start data or WiFi, all my toast notifications for all apps that have it on come up one by one in go so I never miss anything!!!

Granted, it's not ideal...but hey, it's windows phone, lol! Where looks, style and cameras rule the roost!

I rarely get notifications. At home I hear the alerts on my old iphone that I use on wifi...and usually just reply on there too on the tiny little screen.

simple answer: No, FB notifications does not work.... at least for me (using latest version of FB and WP8)

The toast notifications dont work at all with the official App, it worked for the first week maybe.

They don't work for me, I'm getting 3 days old notification if anything at all. They used to work great back in 2010 on WP7 but now on WP8 not so much. I guess WP8 has too many users now, MS servers can't keep up =)

I wasn't getting any notifications for like a week on JDB Facebook, but then I logged out and signed back in and it suddenly started working again. I'm beyond certain I've tried doing that before, but now it finally decided to work, go figure.

So I currently have notifications. Currently. I don't expect it to last long. My last phone (Blackberry) struggled to receive them too, so I'm not too bothered by it.

Mine usually work, it seems to be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes even if I have read the notification somewhere else or on another device I still get it in the Facebook app. The people hub does a better job of this for me. Facebook chat in messaging is cool hoe i get the first message, but if I reply from say my computer, it will stop on the phone.

I don't get any notifications at all, neither from the official app nor the beta. It is quite a pity because I like the app on wp8 quite much. Any idea what I should try? Reinstalling, removing from contacts and logging in again all didn't help...

I get them...after a couple of days :smile:

As others mentioned, even though I read smth on the other device I still get the late notification from the facebook app on my phone.
