Whatsapp soundhack is back...

I just noticed, that the audiohack of Whatsapp is back! Anyone else noticed this? I asked around a few other users, and they don't have it... I think I got it since the last update (298). Anyone else has the audiohack? When I tap it, it opens Whatsapp, so there is no doubt that it is caused by Whatsapp. I tried restarting the phone, turning off and on the background task, it's still here. My device is a HTC 8X without GDR2 (my device doesnt update to GDR2).

how you test this ?

Press on volume up/down key. If you see a play button, next button etc, but no song name, and it opens Whatsapp when you tap it, then you have it too.

do you have the keep wifi turned on when the device is locked checked? in the WIFI settings?

Yep.

It also appears when I am on 3G, with wifi off.

It only comes when ur receiving or sending a picture and then u close the app! The audio hack comes till the picture is downloaded and then turns off automatically!

the audio hack is there to enable your device to keep your wifi live to upload/ download a file while your device is locked.

maybe, if you re enable the WIFI under lockscreen thing it will go away.
