Non IE Browsers problem

Is there anyone has problem with all browsers on windows phone (except IE)? The problem is when you trying to open a web page and before it completely loads tap windows button to open start screen, then switch back to browser, you see page stops loading, actually the browser does not work in background, so when your internet connection is slow and want to do some multi task when page is loading, it is not possible. IE has no problem but all other browsers like UC Browser and others have this problem.

Maybe they dont support to run in background like ie do. Im not sure, because im not using anything else then ie.

I think this is a must-have feature for a Browser, so it's very unusual ALL other browsers not support this.

It has something to do with the background processes that the OS allows, so dergutehirte is right about this.

However, UC Browser supports background downloading so I can suppose they can build support for loading in the background eventually.

background tasks dosn't support such complicated tasks. It can only load 1 link , no rendering, no css things, no image, no JS/ iframe..
It's a pity

But we are working on background things, starting with music, download

But IE supports this feature, so it must be possible. You know, it's very annoying when you waiting for a page to load, then a message received, you go to read that message and come back to browser to see your loaded page, you see that the page stopped loading and you have to refresh it.
