Truecaller doesn't work?

So I tested a lot of numbers on Truecaller and for most it showed 'No result found'.

However when I search for the same numbers on Android I get proper results.

Is it a known bug or just me? And its there any solution to this?

Are you sure you downloaded the right app?
Also, it is possible that numbers you are searching are stored in your Android phone as contacts!
Posting again and again won't help! :smile:

Yes, that's the one I downloaded.
The numbers I were searching were stored in neither of the devices. An online search on truecaller.com also gives the result but TrueCaller on Windows Phone says No result found.

On WP, TrueCaller works for certain numbers and doesn't for the rest.

in android i think you had to enter you own details like ph number name and address. To see other ph number name and address. It not like true call guys steal detail of people from telephone companies. They just show details of person who are registered in their network just like fb

As the OP is saying "most" of the numbers he is trying to search are not found. If there would have been such an issue, no numbers should be found!

current app just give the place based on the number just like 9933XXXXXX is for kolkata

Well it does shows name for certain numbers and not just the location.

However, there are several numbers whose owners are shown when searched via Android or Web but they come up as 'No match found' when searched on WP. I hope I'm clear now.
