Is there a way too show pictures or videos from your phone on the TV? Is there a device that exists such as the Apple TV or Chromecast but for Windows phone? I'm new to Windows phone and want to learn more about what it offers. Thanks!

I would love this as well. I use my Chromecast a lot, and it is one thing I'll miss when I move back to Windows Phone.

    Euhm...yes (???)

I believe Nokia Play To does exactly that (if your tv supports DLNA)

There is also a BETA version, but don't know exactly the difference. I think it's to test newer features without harming the official version...

If your TV doesn't support it, XBOX One does. At least for videos, not sure about pictures,

I think that is out because playto stopped working for people who upgraded to the update 3 beta

Aha, so then that is the purpose for the BETA version !

I just checked and it works. The normal version indeed doesn't anymore.

So install the BETA and try again.
