Same issue here. Just hangs at the loading screen and eventually tells me that I need to check my internet connection. Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon.

Hi everybody,

The Weave service went down in the early AM when no one was awake here ;P It is now back up and we are looking into what was the cause of this. We apologize for it going down, and thank you for anyone who tweeted us (best way to contact) about the problem. Never woke up to that many tweets before...

Thank you,

Seles Games

This application is still available in the Windows Store in the U.S.A.

To resolve this issue perform the following steps:
  • Ensure Weave is not running (kill the process if needed)
  • Start a command prompt as an administrator (Bing it if you don't know how)
  • At the command prompt run (replace <username> with your user id):
    cd C:\users\<username>\appdata\Local\Packages\SelesGames.WeaveNewsReader*
  • At the command prompt run:
    cd Settings
  • Delete the "settings.dat" file:
    del settings.dat

Some how this file must get corrupt and needs to be cleaned up. You will need to reset your preferences but at least Weave will once again begin working. Enjoy
