As of right now..buy app on tablet, can;t get app on phone?

Stupid question, and confusion on my part here so bear with me....

So I have several windows 8 desktops, a RT tablet, a laptop, a x86 tablet... and a lumia icon.

I just got plex to mess about with on my x86 tablet, and wanted to try it out on my phone....

when I go to plex on the phone it is asking me to buy it? Is this really the case due to no unified app support yet? Or is there another way I am supposed to go about getting this on my phone since I paid for it in the windows store?

I was about to puchase Halo spartan assault as well, but will hold off if I can't own it on both without paying twice.

Lol, they mentioned this in //Build today. They said there will be universal apps so that you purchase once. Not sure on time frame of that though.

yeah I seen that, but what strikes me as odd is the app is already written for x64/x86, ARM.... it seems as if the actual stores are different right now and not linking

which is sad because I was looking at a few other apps and games today, and if I cant have it on all right now I will have to wait
