Camera recordings are really fine, it's ok! But sharing daily shorts via chat, messenger apps like Whatsapp is impossible. Anybody knows image shrinking like apps for videos? You may sometimes need just a 480P or 240P video to tell a story about your daily life but it is unable to share 720P (not even talking about 1080P) :unhappy:

Please keep in mind that I don't point trimming. Downsizing a whole video is an urgent need in Lumia phones when even a 3 minute video costs a few hundred MB's. I check WP store for an app once every week but haven't found one yet. Have any ideas, tips or news from developers?

I'd say these kinds of things will show up in WP8.1

Part of the issue surrounding anything video has to do with the OS being locked down in this area. I don't know why this is. It's the reason why we don't have video recording on Instagram and the reason why you won't find many video apps.

I expect this to change though. So for the time being you only have desktop apps to solve your problem unfortunately.
