New to WP8/8.1, app suggestions please

So last week I bought myself my first WP8 phone, the Lumia 1520 and I love it.

Coming from Android (Samsung Galaxy S2) there are a lot of stuff that are different and that I need to learn.
I've installed some apps like facebook, 6tag, twitter and such.

Now I'm looking for good apps for music, the stock one won't show any covers for me sadly and I it feels chunky and not very well designed, so I need a better one, if it can play FLAC it would awesome as well.

Also I need a better weather app/widget, I'm currently using AccuWeather it's ok, but that's it.

Third, is there a way to change icons for the apps, like either OblyTile which I use on my Windows 8.1 computers at home or something else so I can have transparent icons.

You can use moli player which support flac for music. For weather their are many of them . Amazing weather is good or vieather . And last for transparent tiles use transparency tiles
