Trying to convince myself the app situation is not too bad, but then I'll read some reviews for basics like Shutterfly and Pandora and MLB At bat and man it's just brutal.

How serious do you take those reviews?

Well it depends on what you're looking for and open to. For example I used MyFitness Pal when I was on Android and used it on WP, albeit the app experience was different. Then I looked into Health and Fitness from Bing and I haven't looked back. I used to use Google as my search engine. Never used Bing and thought it a waste. Now its all I use. Pandora works well on WP but there are other apps unique to this OS that you might like better if you're willing to experiment. One thing I will say is when it comes to photo apps, Nokia pretty much sets the bar. My biggest piece of advice is have an open mind.
