It's never gonna happen. MS have plans to keep developing their current app and FB don't give a F, yet.

Man thats true... the App for 8.1 its so bad... every time block my phone and its so slow, gonna reinstall the App but i guess its the App itself

The MS one is OK. But has a good few issues - lack of 2FA awareness, non-display of Foursquare comments being two that irk me.
I just use the browser if needed.

I don't know if you've ever tried it on iOS or Android but they're official and yet slow. And Facebook Messenger is made by Facebook Inc. and yet is slow and the more you type the slower it gets.

Official doesn't necessarily mean better!

Yeah, I don't really get why people seem to think its drastically faster on other platforms. FB draws alot of information, it's not going to be instant.

I actually just opened Facebook on my phone 1520 and my Nexus 7 2013, on the same Wifi network. The 1520 was barely faster, actually. They both opened immediately, I don't really see the reason for all the complaints. Maybe the 1520 is just faster than the dual core phones, here. I know in most areas, there's hardly a difference in the extra CPU, as I have a 1020 also.

And btw, my Nexus is brand new and lightening fast. It's not "bogged down" at all, yet...
