Error while downloading new apps and updating old apps.

I have been facing problem while updating apps since yesterday... While the app reaches installing stage, the phone suddenly shows an error message "unable to install, please update your phone".
My phone is up to date with lumia black. And today it has stopped connecting to the store itself. I have a good data connection. I did a soft reset yesterday and it didnt help.
Any one else is facing this issue? Will hard reseting help? I don't wanna loose my data.

Thanks for replying in. Yes I got this error while updating facebook messenger and whatsapp. Now It seems the problem is solved, I can download stuff again from store. I'm not getting any errors now.
