Is it me only or anyone doesn't get toast notification if someone likes your status,photo etc????

I use the facebook beta only..It notifies me in other activities except the likes..I don't get it..When i open the app I found all those notification of likes

There has never been an option for toast notifications for likes. You just get a number on the tile. I presume a background task checks periodically for Facebook notifications to do this, rather than a push notification.

If I'm not mistaken Facebook on iOS doesn't give push/toast notifications for likes either, just comments, tabs etc.

I keep fb and twitter notification OFF. Nothing on either is important enough to be notified about. When I open the app, I'll see it. Until then, I don't care.
