Simple Calendar Died on me today

So I just was checking my phone and saw Simple Cal was all greyed out. Rebooted, nothing. Soft reset = nothing. It will not open and remains greyed out.
Anyone else having issue?

Well, apparently an uninstall-reinstall has fixed it. But not sure what caused it. That's the first I ever saw anything like this happen before.

I was just logging on to report the same behavior. I have an Icon running the latest DP version of 8.1. As you said, the Simple Calendar tile is 'dark' and the app will not respond either via the live tile or from the app list. This happened to me once before, a few months ago, and only an uninstall/reinstall would correct it.
